About Rabbit Pellets
As much of the energy in a rabbit`s daily diet as possible should come from digestible fibers. These fibers are abundant in green plants such as grass. Therefore, we have based this feed on fiber-rich, high-quality Norwegian hay. The plants are coarsely ground. and the pellets are relatively large to preserve the important structure of the fibers. This ensures proper digestion of the fibers. Additionally, the feed is balanced with proteins, minerals, and essential amino acids to ensure that the animals get all the nutrients they need foor a good health.
Herbs like Chicory contain Inulin, a natural probiotic, which helps maintain a healthy digestive system. The nutrients are adjusted according to the typical content of Norwegian hay. The ingredients are blended and pelleted to ensure that the animals receive the right amount of all the essential nutrients. For the animals health and well-being, they should always have access to fresh water and fiber-rich hay/grass of good quality.
Switching from one feed to another: Gradually mix old feed with the new for about a week, to prevent digestive discomfort.
Feed from To Gode Naboer should be stored in a dry, cool, and dark place.
Which One Should I Choose?
Choosing Rabbit Feed
This table can help you find the right type of feed. Go through the table and note how many checkmarks apply to each type of feed. The type with the most checkmarks is often the recommended one, but yoy should make a holistic assessment based on witch criteria weigh the most. If your rabbit is pregnant or has childrens, it should have "Rabbit Junior" regardless of the other checkmarks that may apply.
If you believe the recommendation doesn`t suit your rabbit, feel free to disregard it and choose the feed that you think is best for your particular rabbit.
